Zum 2. Mal schon haben wir unseren Weihnachtsurlaub im Haus Spencer bei Rob und Bev verbracht, und wieder waren wir von ihrer Gastfreundschaft begeistert: Vom liebevoll geschmückten Weihnachtsbaum, über morgentliche Brötchen bis hin zu selbstgebackenem Kuchen blieben keine Wünsche offen. Das Appartment Bischofsmütze ist sehr geräumig, hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und vollständig mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet. Das nagelneue Bad mit edler Ausstattung haben wir sehr genossen. Alles ist zudem noch super sauber. Haus Spencer ist sehr zentral - aber auch sehr ruhig - gelegen. Skilifte, Supermarkt, Restaurants und Arzt sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus Spencer und die wunderschöne Umgebung bieten sowohl im Sommer wie auch im Winter alle Voraussetzungen für einen perfekten Urlaub. Wir würden das Haus Spencer jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Für das nächste Jahr haben wir schon wieder gebucht !!

This was our first visit to this region and is one that will stay in the memory for a long time for all the right reasons. Our hosts, Rob & Bev Spencer were absolutely brilliant. They knew the area intimately and were able to maker excellent recommendations for the best places to ski (depending on ability), the best restaurants (of which there are many in Filzmoos) and the best things to do (the horse drawn sleigh ride up the mountain and a meal at the Oberhofalm at the top is highly recommended). They will also help you get the best deal on ski hire and having an English couple like Rob & Bev whose command of German is excellent can be a massive help. We stayed in the larger of their two apartments - Bischofsmutze which was extremely spacious for me, my wife and our two teenage daughters. The apartment was spotless and beautifully appointed with great attention to detail. It's location is ideal, only 2 to 3 minutes walk away from the well stocked local supermarket (Mpreis) and also within easy walking distance of all the local ski lifts and gondolas. Filzmoos is also blessed with a good number of excellent restaurants again within easy walking distance. A typical hearty Austrian evening meal (two courses) for four people with drinks will cost around €20 a head and you won't leave hungry! There are also many excellent places for great coffee and cake if you can manage it. In summary, there is nothing I can fault about our hosts, Haus Spencer and Filzmoos. If you want the perfect winter holiday, look no further, it's all here and we loved it so much that we've already booked in with Rob & Bev again for Christmas 2015!

Mooi groot appartement en van alle gemakken voorzien. Rob en Bev zijn zeer gastvrij en doen er alles aan om je verblijf aangenaam te maken.

We arrived at Haus Spencer with a lovely welcome by Rob and Bev. The room was amazing - it was a big apartment, it was spotless, it was much, much more than we expected. When we saw the room there was a Christmas tree put up for us and beautiful ornaments around the apartment. It is a non smoking place which is great. There was only four of us (2 children and 2 adults) in an apartment with two rooms, but could hold seven. After a couple of days (2) Rob and Bev were no longer just the owners of the apartments, they became our good friends. Th accommodation was fabulous! If we could rate Haus Spencer higher believe me we would. We have been to Filzmoos twice now and we've stayed in Haus Spencer once, but if we go to Filzmoos again we will definitely go to Haus Spencer with no doubt! We recommend Haus Spencer 100% for the amazing apartment and for the kindness of the wonderful Rob and Bev.

This was our third family holiday visit to Haus Spencer. Rob and Bev gave us a warm welcome. The apartment is perfect for our family. The apartment was very clean and tidy, with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. Walking distance to the village, with lots of well priced restaurants. There are lots of interesting local attractions. We really enjoyed this break and we will be back again - soon we hope!

After almost a year of my boyfriend telling me how amazing Filzmoos is, we finally took the opportunity to go in January of this year. Rob met us at the airport and on the drive to the town expertly fielded our many questions about the plans that lay ahead of us.||||The apartment was amazing, beautifully appointed with everything we could possibly need. Everything looked "as new" with views to be admired. I even took a photo from the balcony as soon as we arrived! This, combined with Bev's Sachertorte (chocolate cake) made us feel very welcome immediately.||||Rob was able to service our skis in-house. So while we were out exploring, he made sure our ski gear was ready for the next day's fun. Perfect!||||Haus Spencer is in a superb location. A couple of minutes walk from all ski lifts in the town, local amenities and restaurants - of which there are many great options to choose from.||||The skiing was amazing. We were very lucky with the weather, and managed to see Filzmoos at it's idilic best. Not once did we have to queue for a ski lift during the whole trip! After a hard few days skiing we treated ourselves to a Sports Massage. It turns out that Rob is Flizmoos' resident Sports Massage Therapist, with his therapy room downstairs from our apartment. Just what we needed.||||All in all, our hosts couldn't have done more to make our trip as fabulous as it was. Everything about the holiday was perfect - we'll be back!

Gisteren teruggekomen van een heerlijk verblijf bij de ontzettend aardige en behulpzame Rob en Bev. Wij hebben met 2 gezinnen in beide appartementen gezeten. De appartementen zijn erg ruim, zeer netjes, sanitair en keuken zijn nieuw. Filzmoos is een enorm leuk dorpje en het appartement ligt op loopafstand (5 min.) naar skischool Bögei waar onze oudste dochter skiles had. De broodjes service is een aanrader. Rob en Bev bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid en we zullen hier zeker nog eens terugkomen. (Alleen komend jaar niet, want dan zijn we met zijn 12-en ;o) )

We spent our holiday with both of our parents and 2 children, so we booked the 2 appartments, which was extremely comfortable for us. We easily had breakfast and dinner with 6 adults and 2 children at one table, which felt like Christmas with the beautiful scenery outside. ||||The house is full of windows and so you can enjoy the beautiful Filzmoos surroundings at all times. Nice trees all around the village.||||The hospitality provided by the owners is really family-like. They are at your disposal at all times without annoying you. ||||May be the most wonderful house I've ever spent my holiday in. Can't think of anything negative, even though I try hard.
